Coming by Car & Ferry: The Scenic Route

If you’re driving through mainland Greece, you’ll need to hop on a ferry to cross over to Kefalonia. The ferry will take you straight to Sami, and from there it’s a short 10-minute drive to the villas.

There are two main departure ports to choose from:

    • Astakos to Sami
      Operated by Ionion Pelagos, with everyday departures at 13:00 and a sailing time of 2h 20min.

      Served by Levante Ferries, this route is also popular, with every day departures at 13:00, and a sailing time of 3h 30min.

Flying In: Direct and Easy

If flying is more your style, Kefalonia International Airport (EFL) welcomes flights from across Europe, especially during the summer months.

✈ From Romania

Direct summer flights from Bucharest (OTP) are available, perfect for our Romanian guests looking for a quick island getaway. 

During the summer months of June, July, and August, Animawings operates flights to Kefalonia twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. In addition, Wizz Air operates flights from Romania to Kefalonia twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, throughout June, July, August, and September. You can check prices here: Wizz Air.
